Right. I wrote a few paragraphs and then I got the blue screen of death so I lost what I'd written... Ah well.
So I haven't posted since 21st March. Since then... CCF Easter Camp. That was pretty good, but very wet and stuff. VERY wet. And I felt sick on the second night. And I kinda realised why I really can't join the army (not that I was considering it) - I can't handle bad weather. I mean, I can, but I wouldn't wanna spend my life living like that. I like beds too much for one thing. But I think the Year 9s in the CCF like me, which is nice lol.
I came back from Easter Camp to find out that I had become a prefect and was in the top 10, so I got an interview for the role of School Captain (Head Boy, for non-headmaster people). Yay.
Then... UKLF cadet leadership course, which I was really scared about. That went really well in the end. My section was really nice, and so was the i/c, although he was a nutcase and swore more than I've ever heard anyone else swear in my life. But as I said, very nice. So yeah I met some really great people. And I realised that the good parts of army life would be really really fun! Especially if the weather were good (which it was, all week). So yeah, I really enjoyed my week.
Then there was the D of E practice. That was fun!!! A lot of the people in my team were people whom I didn't really know beforehand, or not very well. But afterwards we had lots of private jokes and sayings and banter and it was just a fun time. We ate loads of basil.
Then term time. I became Head Boy, with Sam Booth and Tom Woodward as deputies. Josh Trott, Duncan Bucknell, Matt Wilks and Ted Harding became House Captains. Ooh look at that formatting... I went to France with loads of Year 7s at the end of April, which was annoying and tiring, but fun in its own special way.
Then. Art exam. I worked right up until the deadline. The exam went well, and I was so relieved when it was over. French oral. That went well too, I was pleased with that. Art deadline, that went OK as well. I was in the art block ALL THE TIME finishing stuff off and mounting stuff (make a sexual joke out of those, I dare you...). German oral, that went very well too. Spontaneity went downhill a bit, but not too much. Overall it was good.
Today... I got up at 10, went for a run, had a shower, had breakfast, did loads of maths, went to see my brother play a rounders match, did music revision. It was good. I feel physically better than I have done in a long time. And tonight I've been speaking to someone special on MSN, who decides to ramble on for an hour while I have dinner... I told them to, so it wasn't completely random, but it was very nice. Although sometimes a bit crazy. But who doesn't love craziness?! Exactly.
