Stuff since the last post:
- Berlin - that was awesome, loads of banter and coach chants and things, and Blues Brothers was awesome!
- China (and Vietnam) - awesome too, a whole month with a group of people who were cool and fun... Stuff's really different over there, sometimes in a good way, sometimes in a bad way. But all of us enjoyed the trip.
- Crete - that was awesome too... (I just have an awesome life :-P) Met loads of cool people, the weather was really nice, and we stayed in a great 'hotel' complex thing. It was by far the best holiday I've ever been on.
- AS results - 5 As (1 of which was an entire A Level in Maths) and 1 B (in General Studies), so I was quite pleased. I got 293 in German, which I was very pleased about!
- UCAS stuff - I've applied for French and German at Cambridge, Durham, Exeter, Warwick and Nottingham. So far I've got 2 offers (both ABB) from Nottingham and Exeter, and I've sent essays off to Cambridge (Homerton College) but I haven't been given an interview yet.
- I passed my driving test! First time.
- Anything Goes - the school musical this year. I have the part of Elisha Whitney, a Wall Street tycoon.
- Prefect activities - being Head Boy can be quite stressful, but I am enjoying it!
- Corps of Drums - my year as Drum Major is nearly over (it's a calendar year). We're about to decide the next Drum Major; it's going to be Will, Olie or Charles.
I need to think about what I'm gonna do for my 18th birthday party. Lots of my friends have had theirs already, and by and large they've been great fun. I was thinking of making it quite small and only inviting a few people (so there'll be some good friends who don't get invited, sadly... I think.), maybe have a meal. And I would commit the cardinal sin of not having any alcohol, and asking people not to bring any. As you may remember from previous posts, I don't like alcohol. I've got better at tolerating drunkenness, and trying to be less judgemental (and even if I don't like you drinking, chances are I'll still like you just as much afterwards, unless you get completely smashed all the time and are really annoying), but I still get kinda upset when certain friends get drunk (I don't know why, and I know it's weird...) and so I think that at my party, I shouldn't have to feel like that. If people don't like the idea of a sober party (most of my friends wouldn't mind, but I think a few would be quite annoyed), then they can just not come. I don't think that's mean, because surely they wouldn't enjoy such a sober party so it's better that they don't come than come and have a bad time...
Wow, I just said a lot about a very small and unimportant thing...
I think that'll be it for now. I don't think I'll advertise this blog as such (i.e. I won't tell many people that I've posted), but I'll wait and see... Someone will probably find it, and they may tell someone else who knows me, etc., etc. But if not, then never mind. A lot of the time I blog just to get something off my chest and I don't care if it's read or not.
See ya soon xxx

I love how you use little flowers instead of regular bullet points. Kinda girly.
