Would you lie with me and just forget the world?

The title of the post is so because it was just on an advert for BBC iPlayer (heartily endorsed by Mr. Lissimore), and I like it. One of those songs that makes me feel kinda emotional, and reminds me of lots of stuff. I like songs like that. I've never been much of a Snow Patrol fan (not for any reason, just because I haven't really hear much of their stuff), but I do like them, and a lot of their songs are good :-)

Anyway... House Music was today. The results were:
1. Mildmay
2. Holland
3. Tindal (my house)
4. Strutt
which was a bit disappointing to be honest. We'd put in loads of work and I think we could have won... I think we just had a bad day if I'm honest. I'm not bitter, I think that the other houses did very well. It was very close, and I think Mildmay deserved to win. They haven't won since I've been at KEGS, and they've come last for the last few years, and this year they worked really hard, so it was all quite nice. And they were very good today. I'm pretty annoyed that we didn't win, and especially that we didn't come second, but someone's gotta feel like this, and three houses will always be disappointed. There's nothing we can do now, except work extra hard at everything else. Tindal have only won House Music twice since I've been here (even lost it once), but have won the House Championship six times. So here's hoping...

Yeah that's all really. I've been feeling a bit hopeless really, like there's a tunnel of badness that I'm following and that I can't get out of, but I think I just need to get on with life and not let it get to me. And try really hard not to follow the tunnel.
